The conventional manufacturing of carbon components is based on lamination technologies. The increasing use of carbon fibre composites is displacing aluminium or steel in many engineering areas (aerospace, automotive, railway, precise engineering etc.), mainly due to weight reductions.
The Czech SME has been dealing with engineering optimization since 2016 and one of their focus is weight optimization. They managed to develop novel composite frame modular system.
Compared to the conventional lamination technologies of carbon frames and constructions, the Czech solution offers considerably lower manufacturing costs and high-speed assembly.
The company delivers a complex engineering solution from a concept design to delivery of a final product. Composite frame modular system is suitable for every application, where optimum compromise between a product weight and production costs is needed.
Depending on the application, the dimensions and length of the carbon fibre can be adjusted (the directional winding of the carbon fibre determines the required strength in all 3 axes x-y-z).
Sample applications: linkage struts, frame systems, drive shafts, mobile transport boxes etc.
The cooperation sought is a commercial agreement with technical assistance, when the customer is expected to provide technical input for composite frame design, such as an existing structure of a conventional frame (e.g. steel or aluminium), 3D interface model, loading and boundary condition, legislative requirements, etc. The Czech SME will provide all engineering tasks (CAD – Computer Aided Design and CAE – Computer Aided Engineering) as well as manufacturing of designed parts including assembly and delivery to the customer site.
