Description
The company was founded in 2009 as a manufacturing enterprise producing thin-walled electric-welded pipes. Today MSP is the leading Ukrainian manufacturer of electric-welded thin-walled pipes of various sections: rectangular, square, round, oval, flat-oval, semi-oval (arched), triangular, as well as pipes of a special profile. Thickness range from 0.5mm to 2.0mm. The length of the pipes can reach 12 meters. It is possible to manufacture hot-rolled pipes with a wall thickness of 1.5 to 2.0 mm. Steel grades used in production: 08KP (DC01), 1-3 PS (S235JR). The production range includes a large number of exclusive standard sizes widely used in the implementation of various furniture solutions. Also, some sizes of rectangular pipes are made with a side (on the smaller side) seam.
To date, the production facilities of the enterprise consist of 3 lines, with a diameter of products from 10 mm in a round section to 80x40 mm in a rectangular one, as well as 2 high-tech cutting lines, with a cutting range of 10 mm. A line was purchased that cuts pipes at an angle of up to 30 degrees.
The production equipment park also includes an external deburring unit, which ensures a high quality of the pipe surface in the weld zone.
The company is constantly improving the quality of the cut products, from the introduction of installations for removing burrs from the inner surface of the weld, to the launch of fully automatic high-precision cutting lines, providing an opportunity with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. to produce directly products in the required size of the customer.

The company offers the following types of pipes:
- The pipe is round.

The technological process of manufacturing longitudinally welded electric-welded pipes includes several stages:
- Unwinding of sheet metal (coiled steel) and its cutting. The operation is performed using a longitudinal cutting unit, which makes it possible to produce metal strips (strips) of the same width with high accuracy. This further ensures the convergence of the edges of the strips during the formation of the tubular billet.
- Welding strips. For the production of pipes, a continuous supply of metal strip is necessary. This operation is performed using semi-automatic submerged arc welding and ensures the formation of strong and ductile seams with the minimum possible number of defects. The resulting strip is transferred to the drive.
- Forming of tubular blanks. To give the flat billet the shape of a tube, it is passed through a system of horizontal and vertical rolls. Each subsequent pair of rolls reduces the radius of the workpiece until its edges are as close as possible to each other.
- Welding of a longitudinal seam. For this purpose, high-frequency welding, induction method, is used. When using it, the joined edges of the workpiece are heated by high-frequency currents to the melting point, and then squeezed by crimping rollers. The result is a strong and durable connection. This process is very fast and takes no more than three seconds. Then, to improve the appearance and quality of the weld, a deburring operation is performed.
- Profiling. This operation is performed only in the manufacture of profile pipes. To do this, round blanks are passed through forming rolls, which give them a rectangular or square shape.
- Calibration. At this stage, the ovality of the pipes is eliminated and the accuracy of their geometric dimensions and shapes is ensured. For this, the products are first cooled with water, and then passed through the sizing rolls.
