The German company acts as a nationwide leader in online lifelong learning programs both in academics and in corporate areas. It develops and markets individual and tailor-made e-learning solutions such as online study courses and online training courses for universities, companies and public institutions.
Founded in 2003 as a wholly owned subsidiary of a public university, the company has been rapidly expanding its team of online experts. Being a full-service provider of e-learning solutions within a network of 13 universities of applied sciences in Germany and Switzerland, the company already offers a total of eleven accredited bachelor's and master's degree programs that support blended learning scenarios. The in-house and production processes are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and 29990.
In addition to developing undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the company's portfolio also includes a variety of online continuing education courses and so-called Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). The online continuing education and compulsory training courses currently reach more than 200.500 training participants.
The company offers a cross-functional approach that includes system and media development, video production, didactics as well as marketing and sales. The existing competencies allow an all-round service including development, multimedia and video production as well as hosting of learning platforms in line with all corporate design specifications. All outcomes are based on the latest authoring and design tools. The company offers its services as a complete package in form of platform deployment and/or module production.
The company already gathered experience with national and international projects and is now looking for international business partners who need expertise with respect to the production and development of e-learning-products. Cooperation could take place for instance through license agreements. The company would like to offer its services on a long-term basis.
