Description

Established in 2013 by an electronics development engineer with many years’ experience, the UK company specialises in the design and manufacture of products required by the asbestos removal industry, in order to comply with the law on health and safety in this field.

The range of equipment which the company supplies includes:

• A multi-channel pressure monitor, offering the latest in pressure monitoring technology:

This uses digital pressure sensors to achieve highly accurate pressure measurement and comes in a specially designed toughened case, making it practical to use in the field. As well as incorporating a thermal printer to provide hard copies and a USB 2.0 connection to make it easy to drag pressure data off the product, the pressure monitor has also been upgraded to offer internet connectivity, to allow users to monitor data in real time and to store data for record keeping.

• An air mover, which forms the first of a series of negative pressure units (NPU) with intelligent capabilities:

Unlike all other NPUs in its price range, it digitally monitors the pressure across the high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter, to determine the air flow rate. Furthermore, it is able to estimate the remaining life (in hours) of the HEPA to enable the end user to make alternative arrangements.

The company also supplies:
• a low-cost pressure monitor, for use where only basic pressure monitoring is required;
• sirens / alarms designed to plug into the pressure monitors and extend the range of the pressure warning system;
• mains switches designed to allow remote activation of secondary air mover fans.

All the products are assembled in the UK and are designed to be robust, for use in demanding construction environments. They have been developed and updated in response to customer demand and feedback, and can be used in an integrated way. The brand is strong in the asbestos removal industry and the products have a good reputation for functionality and reliability.

The large majority of production is already exported, predominantly to France and the Netherlands. However, the company is keen to expand into new markets and therefore wishes to find suitably experienced distribution partners in other European countries.

Ideally partners should have knowledge of the asbestos removal industry in their country and would be required to work closely with the UK company to develop the market for its products there.
