Summary
Based in Spain, the technology center specializes in agricultural and agrifood sectors. Their innovation lies in agronomic experimentation and innovation, optimizing crop nutrition, productivity, soil health, water management and pest control. The integration of field knowledge, crop insights, and cutting-edge tech ensures sustainable farming.
The center is looking for partnerships for growth, welcome cooperative R&D and/or commercial agreements with technical assistance.
Description
The Spanish technology centre is specialized in providing innovative solutions and conducting research in various areas, including sustainable agriculture, viticulture industry, agricultural mechanization and experimentation, forest management and enviromental conservation.
The organization has an extensive expertise in integrating cutting-edge tecnologies with agricultural practices. The center stands as a reputable player in the market, recognized for its commitment to sustainable practises and research excellence.
The technology offered is:
- Unit of forced cultures in climatic chamber, with area for the development of plant breeding and multiplication where in vitro cultures can be performed, emulating the extreme conditions against which we want to force crops.
- Intelligent photovoltaic irrigation unit, which allows to study different irrigation strategies based on the edaphoclimatic variables of the environment. Optimizing water consumption and reducing water footprint in crops
- Specific measuring equipment in the field: portable NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), portable fluorometry meter Multiplex, stomatal conductivity meter, portable electronic scale, sub-metric tablet-GPS for data collection in the field. Rhizospheric sampling system. Capacitive soil moisture probes. Penetrometer, lysimeters.
- Planet Scope satellite tracking systems.
Additionally, the center´s utilization of precision agriculture techniques maximizes output while minimizing inputs. This approach leads to more sustainable farming systems, benefiting both producers and the environment.
For desired cooperation, the center envisions collaborative research and development agreements and commercial partnerships with technical support. These partnerships are chosen to facilitate mutual learning and the exchange of expertise. The international cooperation envisaged involves shared research, joint projects, and knowledge dissemination to drive global progress in agriculture.
