Warm water incorporates 60% of the water used in the showers, taking the shower is the households' biggest energy spender. As the heated water is not fully utilized in the showers, 20-30% of the energy is wasted in the drain.
The Finnish cleantech company has developed a smart shower floor drain that saves 40% of households' energy consumption. Regardless of the heating method used, the energy saving solution can be installed to most showers in apartment houses, row houses, town houses, hotels, spas, sports centres, etc. The use of the energy saving solution is easy and safe. The solution's filters can be changed by the residents without special tools or expertise, standard filters are sufficient. The residents do not need any training how to use the solution, as it does not require a change in their behavior.
The company considers the solution to be ready for European market and wishes to cooperate with companies dealing with energy efficiency solutions. The company is looking for partners in Europe, in particular in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium. The cooperation would be in the form of commercial agency agreement.
