The Finnish company has been operating for over 20 years manufacturing and installing sun protective products for companies, offices, hospitals, households, schools, etc.. The company’s main products are curtain rails and rods as well as blinds: aluminium and wooden window blinds, aluminium blinds for balconies and roller, vertical and blisse blinds.

The company would be interested in connecting with curtain rail and roller blind manufacturers or wholesalers under a manufacturing or supplier agreement (a subcontracting agreement might also be suitable if manufacturing the company’s own models and designs).

The company would also like to engage with companies that have developed components that are suitable to use with a variety different curtain rails under a manufacturing or subcontracting agreement or wholesalers of these components under a supplier agreement.

Furthermore, the Finnish company is looking for an aluminium factory for the manufacturing of aluminium rails. The factory should be capable of designing and implementing customized extrusion profiles for aluminium curtain rails. The factory should have the appropriate tools, robotics and a paint shop in order to produce the rails, press aluminium profiles and manufacture aluminium components. Alternatively, an aluminium factory with the above aluminium processing capabilities but which has outsourced the production of their extrusion tools could be considered.

The company’s demand for aluminium rails is approx. 80 tonnes per year. The demand for curtain rail components and other parts varies, but the volume is significant enough that current suppliers in Finland have proved inadequate to meet it.

Customer orientated manufacturer or wholesaler of curtain rails and / or curtain and blind components under a manufacturing or supplying agreement or subcontracting if producing the company's own designs. The supplying partners should already be manufacturing or supplying curtain rails and/or curtain rail and roller blind components. Since the Finnish company’s product catalogue is too extensive to list, at this stage they are not looking for products with specific parameters but partners which have the capacity to supply, source or manufacture any significant variety of curtain rail related products and components. Relatively larger companies with an extensive partner and/or supplier network and capacity to readily supply or manufacture large quantities are preferred. The aluminium factory should be capable of designing and implementing customized extrusion profiles for aluminium curtain rails. The factory should have the appropriate tools, robotics and a paint shop in order to produce the rails, press aluminium profiles and manufacture aluminium components. The exact specifics of cooperation will depend on the capabilities, operation model and inventory of the partners and will be determined and negotiated on a case by case basis.
