The effect of the herbal ingredient combination was tested in a double-blinded, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study at a public Danish hospital. Study participants were mainly men with reduced sperm quality, while a minority of men had normal sperm quality (66 study participants in total). Upon 3 months of treatment, the total number of moving spermatozoa increased by 62% on average. This was a statistically significant result, i.e. not likely to occur by chance. Reports of side effects are very rare and relate to gastrointestinal discomfort, probably due to the pungency of one of the ingredients.
