Ukrainian IT company, together with experts in the field of pediatric dentistry have developed an innovative solution designed to solve a number of problems in the field. As part of a special project, a group of dentists from the CIS countries analyzed the main problems faced by pediatric dentists. It was found that the main difficulties faced by specialists are: the child's fear of the atmosphere of the hospital, old approaches or even ignoring the needs of the child, emotional burnout of doctors. These problems increase the treatment time of one patient, worsen the emotional state of both the doctor and the patient, leads to frequent ignoring of dental problems for fear of re-visiting the dentist.
To solve the above problems, the Ukrainian company has developed a set of interactive elements that helps dentists communicate with children and make an appointment successful. The main part of this set is a special IT program developed on the base of augmented reality technology (AR). The program can be freely downloaded by the client through the Play market or App Store, but for its correct operation requires the use of interactive tools from the proposed set.
Potential users of the created technology are private dentists or children's clinics. The doctor receives a specially designed instruction designed to interest the child in the process of treatment and care of teeth, as well as to distract from unpleasant aspects during the visit to the dentist. After treatment, the doctor gives the child to scan a special QR code and a prototype of the cured problem appears in the child's phone. The application contains many features of the game with the obtained "monster" and is based on the technology of collecting games.
This method is already actively used by doctors in private clinics in Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland. This approach has proven to be effective in overcoming children's fear, allowed the doctor to serve more patients at the same time, increased patient loyalty to the clinic.
Also, all clinics connected to the network of users of this application appear on a special project map, which serves as their additional advertising and gave greater visibility for potential clients.
Now the company is actively distributing its product among private clinics in the CIS. At the same time, the company is looking for a distributors or local integrators in EU countries to increase the customer pool and reach new markets.
