Description
Based in the south of France, this family-owned SME has been a key player in the French organic cosmetics market since1998. It offers a wide range of hair, skin and face care products made from natural ingredients. These products, which are part of an ethical and responsible approach, are certified ORGANIC and have various labels, including COSMEBIO, BDIH, VEGAN, COSMOS NATURAL, COSMOS ORGANIC, FAIR FOR LIFE and NaTrue.
Number 2 in the organic retail market, the company is present in over 2,000 specialist organic shops in France, including some of the biggest names, and in pharmacies/parapharmacies.
The company, which has its own R&D laboratory, has recently developed two new brands.
The first is a range of plant-based hair colors (Fair For Life label). They are 100% plant-based and 100% organic (BIO COSMOS ORGANIC). These eco-designed hair colors come in 10 shades. Each coloring kit contains a sachet of coloring plant powder, a biodegradable charlotte, biodegradable gloves , and instructions for use printed on the packaging rather than on a leaflet to save paper.
The second brand is an innovative deodorant (see attached images). Based on the observation that our bathrooms are full of disposable products, mainly made of plastic, the company developed the first solid deodorant, incorporated into a very elegant wooden applicator that can be refilled ad infinitum. The deodorants are effective for 48 hours, and made from 100% natural ingredients: organic plant butters for a slippery texture, bicarbonate of soda to neutralise unpleasant odours and diatomaceous earth to absorb perspiration. They are certified organic and vegan, and come in 3 fragrances: Almond Milk, Pomegranate Flower and Bamboo Sap.
The company has paid particular attention to the design of the applicator itself.
Far from the classic disposable plastic sticks, the company is offering a unique, decorative and eco-responsible creation. It called on the services of an artisan turner who uses wood from sustainably managed French forests, making its deodorant plastic-free, 100% made in France, and infinitely refillable.
Today, the company is already present in several EU and non-EU countries but wants to expand internationally, except Austrian, Spain and Switzterland where it already works with exclusive distributors. The company believes that its plant-based colorings and innovative deodorants in particular should be of interest to distributors looking for new organic and eco-designed products.
