The Swedish SME is a research company working with energy conversion and high temperature chemistry processes since 2008. It consists of a team of experts in the areas of Bio and fossil fuels and energy conversion. The method for controlling distribution of air factor in industrial reactor by proactive oxygen and temperature measurements was developed as a results of 30 years of research and development in Sweden and worldwide.
The new model clarifies a series of events that appear to be incompatible and paradoxes such as simultaneously high production of NOx and CO. The technology offers a unique approach to monitor, control and optimize boiler processes in a proactive and real-time manner.
The technology can be implemented in old plants or incorporated in new plants under design. It has already been implemented with very good results in a number of large plants in Sweden. (see attached graph from a from Swedish Environmental Protection Agency). These plants prioritize environmental issues and reference plants can be visited for those interested.
The SME is looking for parters interested in a joint venture agreement.
Advantages & innovations
- Minimization NOx with reduced ammonia usage
- Elimination of CO
- Increased energy conversion and increased boiler efficiency and thus reduction of fuel consumption and thereby reduction of total emissions
- Minimization of unburned fuel or untreated raw materials in steel and cement
- Minimizing the chlorides (biofuels) and dioxins (waste fuels)
- Extends the service life of pressure vessels and the entire plants
- Minimizing corrosion in boilers

Partner sought
Fossil fuel heat plants, industries, companies and organisation working with monitoring, controlling and optimisation of boiler processes. The potential partners should be ready to discuss a joint venture agreement, but other types of collaboration agreements could also be considered.
