A Greek SME company is a pioneering composite parts’ manufacturer focused on marine, automotive, wind energy and other special niche sectors. The company utilize, through its own R&D capabilities, state-of-the-art technologies for the design and fabrication of medium to large sized complex products. The Greek company offers two boats. The boats are particularly fuel efficient due to the design of their hulls and their low weight, a result of the advanced producing method used which is vacuum resin infusion. In the same time, the boats are sea-worthy, safe and comfortable, with large storage spaces available. The boats can be propelled using small outboards or electric drives, if this option is needed. Many options are available for the arrangement and functionality of the boats. The first boat, with 6 meters of length has a hull that is designed under the wave piercing principle. The boat can be produced of either glass-fiber or carbon. The model made of carbon is weighting 145 kilos and with a normal 30 Hp outboard engine made a world-record in consumption with 0,2 liters of fuel per nautical mile, for covering a distance of 105 miles. The glass-fiber boat is weighting 450 kilos and can be ideally propelled with 50-70 Hp engines (max. 115) with consumption 0,55 lt. per nautical mile at 23 knots. The boat has large storage spaces and can accommodate up to 6 persons. The boat of 5 meters length is equally effective. Propelled with engines ranging from 30-70 Hp, consumes 0,5 lt. per nautical mile, at 22 knots. Weight is 330 kilos. 6 persons can be on-board and 2 cubic meters of storage space is available. The Greek company is looking for boat firms from abroad that would like to include the offered bots. The options for collaboration include the commercial agreement for becoming distribution partners in markets abroad or a supply agreement for providing the boats for selling them under the brand of the partner.
