Established in Transylvania as a family-run business, the Romanian company is specialized in manufacturing cheese and other dairy products
Using milk provided by local farms, the Romanian company follows hundreds-years-old traditional recipes and uses new processing technologies in order to preserve milk’s beneficial characteristics and to transform it into quality dairy products.
In recent years, several production lines have been outsourced, so that today the Romanian company focuses on traditional cheeses, by producing 3.5 tons of cheese per day, structured into 3 categories as it follows:
1.bellows/ kneaded cheese (burduf cheese),
2.fresh cottage cheese,
3.brined cheese made from cow's milk and/or sheep's milk (telemea).

With the aim of manufacturing the best Romanian traditional bellows cheese (burduf cheese) and using local resources of milk, the Romanian company is kneading matured cheese made from sheep's and cow's milk, adding only salt for taste and preservation.
Known as „kneaded cheese” (referring to the method of production), the bellows cheese (burduf cheese) is one of the oldest Romanian traditional products, especially for the mountain areas in Transylvania. The bellows cheese (burduf cheese) made by the Romanian company has a uniform white-yellow color, without gaps and granulations, has the consistency of a stronger paste and comes in 2 varieties:
1. soft-tasting bellows cheese (burduf cheese) – cheese made of sheep's and cow's milk with a delicate flavor, kneaded with a little bit of salt (for this variety of cheese the company received the national award for the best burduf cheese in Romania, both in 2018 and in 2019);
2. strong-tasting bellows cheese (burduf cheese) - cheese made of sheep's milk only, an intense flavors and aromas variety unique on the Romanian market.
The Romanian company is selling its products on the internal market via hypermarkets, own store and online, while abroad the cheese products are sold via networks/ distributors in specialty food stores.

Willing to enlarge its visibility and client’s portfolio, the Romanian company is looking for agents to represent its bellows cheese (burduf cheese) among gourmet food stores, hospitality industry, online specialty food stores and other interested partners; the cooperation will be based on a Commercial agency agreement.
