Description
The Romanian NGO was established in 2013 in Transylvania and has since focused on addressing contemporary themes and challenges through artistic creation and production, digital arts and new media. Activities carried out by the Romanian association aim to promote young artists, develop the concept of well-being acquired through direct interaction with art, and strengthen national and international relations to establish intercultural exchanges.
The association achieves its aims by implementing new and recurrent projects with high impact and visibility, both locally and nationally. The NGO is well experienced in drafting and implementing project proposals with competitive national funding and has recently started implementing a Creative Europe funding project, as part of a winning consortium.
The NGO’s project portfolio includes interventions such as:
- Art therapy – art therapy interventions in public Romanian hospitals have been organized on a yearly basis starting 2014. In this context, the NGO has successfully engaged public organizations in healthcare, education, culture, and public administration and has reached over 60.000 beneficiaries.
- Creative workshops for personal and emotional development – workshops are run constantly and address various target groups from young professionals to vulnerable groups including children in foster homes and rural areas.
- Interactive cultural events focused on promoting the national heritage and reducing differences in access to education and culture between urban and rural settings in Romania. Examples of such projects include opening the houses of Romanian personalities in Transylvania in the form of artistic installations, thus allowing audiences to be an active part of the cultural event.
- Artistic performances, installations, and events – The Romanian NGO has created and implemented over 20 such performances which have been invited to different festivals including Faces Without Masks (Skopje, Macedonia de Nord), International Theatre Festival of Kerala (Thrissur, India), The National Theatre Festival (Bucharest, Romania) etc.
The work of the Romanian NGO is carried out with the support of experienced employees and collaborators including actors, directors, photographers, journalists, and other workers in the cultural field. This enables the organization to ensure excellent project management and constantly attract funding resources.
With an aim to further expand its activity and enhance international exchange, the Romanian NGO seeks international partners interested in developing projects in the following areas: arts, culture, education, national and international heritage, well-being.
Cooperation will be based on outsourcing agreements.
