This Portuguese company from the Azores Islands is a family business that has been manufacturing the highest quality handmade embroidery since 1953. Proud of their certified Azores Brand product – in 2015, the Regional Government of the Azores launched the Azores Brand, a label with an easily recognised seal of origin that aims to distinguish products, services and commercial establishments, which has been an important tool for accessing the major national and international markets –, the company is keen to engage with companies in Europe, China and in the USA looking to enhance their product offer with traditional Azorean embroidery. The typical shades of blue on linen and cotton fabrics are the basis of the embroideries, although other colours are also used.
