The Greek company offers a private insurance coverage solution for potential patients of COVID19, regardless their age or their chronic diseases. This solution adopts a very easy procedure, because interested beneficiaries have to just fill a form from their mobile or desktop and provide their age and their symptoms. Otherwise, they can call the company’s call center. In the same day, the company will respond with an affordable proposed premium, in order for the patients to be covered in the private sector.
The application uses advanced statistical modeling to analyze Covid-19 relative data, to correlate Covid-19 symptoms, and to determine the probability of hospitalization. The key design principles of the proposed solution are the simplicity of use, immediate effect, digital approach, scientific modelling, social surplus and profitability to the user. Especially for the latter, according to modest calculations, when rolled out in some European countries, it can easily become at least a 100m Euros business with material profit. While for the insurance user, it is estimated that the premium will be significantly affordable. This depends primarily on the specific geography’s private hospitals rates, the specific geography’s Covid-19 virus status and the specific symptomatic peoples’ insurance sample.
The company is currently looking for cooperation with insurance companies under commercial agency agreement and/or funds interested in investing in health insurance schemes under financial agreement.
