A Finnish SME, founded in 2015, has developed a lifting magnet device. The family of the automatic magnets has 3 different sizes, 500 kg, 1 000 kg and 2 000 in lifting capacity. The lifting magnet is CE-approved. All the magnets work with standard Makita 18 V battery. The magnets don't need to be charged separately, and the battery is quick-changeable, so customers achieve a significant increase in utilisation. The magnets enable ergonomic and safe lifting and are specially designed for use in the machine shop environment. The magnets recognise themselves when to attach and detach from the object being lifted. In addition, the magnet has software that continuously measures the battery status and ensures that the lift is safe. The Finnish SME is looking for distributors who sell lifting products and tools to the engineering sectors. The partners should have experience in selling comparable products and networked with the relevant client groups. The target market is Europe and the preferred type of partnership is a long-term distribution agreement.
