This is a Portuguese SME with more than 18 years’ experience in civil engineering, health, safety and environment and implementation of energy efficiency solutions.
Rehabilitation of roofs of residential buildings, schools, industrial buildings and other constructions, namely when there is asbestos roofing, is an opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and as much as possible to make them generators of their own energy as a contribution to energy independence.
The urban wind utilization project is a unit of electricity production from the wind force, centrifugal force, and effect of Coriolis.
It profits from the kinetic energy of the wind, optimized by "tunneling effect" and produces energy through a vertical axis with a gyroscope system in which the rotation of the turbine shaft in the northern hemisphere counterclockwise and in the southern hemisphere clockwise.
Other energy systems can be associated with this system, namely photovoltaic, solar thermal and hydraulic ones.
The company has developed this system and is looking for a partner to establish a joint venture agreement to take it to the commercialization stage.
Advantages & innovations
Main advantages of the system:
. Make each building a producer of part of self-energy consumed and / or sold to the grid or to other consumers (eg charger of electric cars, batteries and other services)
. Make use of underutilized space in buildings (roofs) to generate renewable energy.
. Change the current concept of pure energy consumer for individual producer energy / consumer of the energy produced
. Reduce dependence on energy suppliers.
. Renewable energy production and its impact on economic, social and environmental aspects
Other advantages of this system :
As regards the cost of energy unit produced
1 - Low installation cost
2 - Low cost of accessory works
3 - On-site use of energy produced
5 - Constant production of green energy
6 - Produced energy is considered green
7 - Price of produced energy similar to that of liberalized market, minimizing the dependency on the energy suppliers
With regard to environmental impacts:
1 - Minimized impact on the environment
2 - Reduced visual impact
3 - Unimportant sound impact
4 - Positive impact on populations

Partner sought
This SME is looking for industrial partners wanting to establish a joint venture agreement. Companies from the construction sector or equipment manufacturers are welcome. The expertise of the partners should contribute to lead the product - an urban wind utilization unit for the production of electrical energy to be installed in buildings - to the commercialization stage
