This Armenian company, which was established in 1998 and is located in the Vayots Dzor region is specialized in the production of red dry wine using indigenous Areni type of grape, as well as white dry wine from special Armenian grape sort Voskehat.
The vineyards are located on the right-hand bank of the Arpa River, next to the little village of Arpi at an altitude of 1250-1300m above the sea level. The seedlings were meticulously selected, in order to grow the high-quality Areni grape. Due to different heights and nearly five different geographical positions of vineyards, the grapes mature differently and the harvest is done in stages, which usually takes up to 20-25 days. The company combines traditional Armenian and modern wine-making technologies and equipment while producing wine. The grape is carefully washed, sorted and only the best and mature grape is selected. After squeezing the grape, the mash is placed in a container of stainless steel for the subsequent fermentation. After obtaining high-quality wine material, it is poured into metal containers and subsequently, the precipitate is filtered off at least twice and poured into 350-liter oak barrels. After bottling the wine ''rests'' for another 4-6 months before getting to the market.
The company produces about 12000 bottles of red and 6000 bottles of white wine each year. The company sells its products in local supermarkets and wine shops, as well as has experience in exporting its production to Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Italy, the USA, Russia, and the UK. The company has recently opened a special tasting hall and restaurant for its clients.
Having an aim to enlarge the volumes of production and to enter new markets, the company is looking for agents and distributors of wines to conclude commercial agency and/or distribution services agreements. Under the distribution services agreement the company expects to find international distributors specialized in sales of alcohol drinks and especially wines who will organize sales of Armenian company's wines in different international markets under long-term cooperation. Under commercial agency agreement the company is looking for agents who are representing alcohol and wine products in the international markets and would be interested to represent also the Armenian company's wines with aim of growth of sales under long term cooperation.
