The SME is a company specializing in the development of mobile robots. They offer a range of products suitable for healthcare facilities (Hospitals), covering several functionalities. This robot is specificaly dedicated to assist the logistics for healthcare profesionals. The robot has a mobile, self-contained platform that allows the robot to move around a facility independently. Its numerous lasers and sensors allow it to be aware of its environment by managing obstacles. The case of the robot is specially adapted to transport all types of medical material such as biological samples (sampling tubes, bags, racks, etc.), transport containers for chemotherapy bags, endoscopes, medicines, materials for sterilisation, etc. The case is secured by a badge opening and closing system. The case can be adapted to the specific needs of the customers and they can develop a custom-made case for specific needs. The user interface is designed to be simple and effective so that any staff member can operate the robot.
