Established in 2017 based on the observation that traditional safety ladders are often rusty and dangerous, and have not been improved for decades. This life-threatening risk inspired the founders to look into this area.
Investigations and numerous field trips enabled the company to specify the exact needs and by that start their innovation. The observation that an unaddressed need for visibility of the ladders at night time became one of the key points that the innovation needed to solve. Other areas like long-lasting with limited maintenance as well as suitability for all kinds of waterfront structures also became crucial.
The company successfully designs, develops, manufactures and markets maritime safety ladders and complementary products. The products are sold to ports, contractors, municipalities and marinas - basically all water fronts with the potential risk of people falling into the water.
The ladders are constructed from reinforced plastic modules in a UV-resistant bright yellow colour. The construction combines the flexibility of a rope ladder with the rigidity of an ordinary marine ladder. A modular concept contributes to improvements in sustainability. 24/7 visibility is achieved with an integrated solar powered light unit. A patent application has been filed.
The company has successfully sold their safety products in numerous ports in Europe and is now looking for dedicated and locally based sales agents to engage with the various ports and municipalities in order to market this unique product and expand sales through already established local networks and relations.
