The Polish family-run company offers the whole range of organic, BIO certified honeyberry/haskap products, under its own brand name for distribution or under the partners brand name. Their adventure with this new berry started in 2014, when the first bushes were planted, the major orchard was planted in 2015 after a field preparation, cultivars selection, watering system, and fertigation was made. Haskap berry is very high in antioxidants, the most prominent are anthocyanins, 5-6 times higher content than the blueberry. “Cyanidin-3-O-glucoside (C3G) is the major anthocyanin present in haskap comprising about 79–92% of its total anthocyanin content and over 60% of the total polyphenols. According to the examinations done by Food Science Faculty their own organic grown fresh berries have on average 1500 mg/100mg of anthocyanins. Other polyphenols (in total 2000mg/100mg) found in the berries: chlorogenic acid, luteolin, quercetin, catechin. They also contain iridoids rarely present in fruits. They taste like a mix of blackcurrant, blueberries, strawberries, with little red wine-like scent. The berries straight from the field go to the freezing facility, which is 20 minutes’ drive from the orchard. This way their best quality is preserved. They are cleaned from leaves, stems any unripe berries and immediately frozen. Ideal for adding to muesli or smoothie, milkshake making. - BIO NFC (Not from Concentrate) honeyberry/haskap berry juice (packed in bottles, drums). The juice is made purely from the berries, cold pressed and quickly pasteurized to preserve healthy compounds, has no water added, additional sweeteners or additives. It has wonderful, reach ruby color, may be served itself or diluted with apple juice or water. - BIO confiture/jam (packed in jars), made of berries and sugar, no preservatives. Some acidity but not too much, perfect balance, the fruits are whole in the jam, so it's really extra fruity. The best for pancakes, ice-cream or on the croissant. - BIO powder, the powder can be used to make a smoothie, it has this unique haskap taste, the Japanese say you long for. The whole processing is controlled and polyphenols are measured at each stage: harvest time, processing, shelf life to assure the highest content of the antioxidants. Also, the cultivation process is strictly conducted according to the organic certification requirements, fruits are tested and are free from any chemical agents residues.
