The Tire Pressure Monitoring system (TPMS) enables owners of their vehicles to be alerted when tyre pressures go outside optimum levels for the tyre. Often OTR (Off The Road) tyres are used in harsh operating environments and extreme applications E.g. mining trucks, where the cost of a single tyre can be $50,000 and the trucks themselves can carry loads of over 400 tonnes. It is therefore important that tires are kept in good order and the right pressure to maintain integrity of the tyre tread. This improves safety & sustainability, and reduces costs and downtime. The tyre sensors are highly advanced, and the tyre pressure and temperature can be monitored remotely over a highly resilient RF signal and data on the tyre pressure can be viewed by the driver and on a web portal. They have four main routes to market: 1. Through resellers / distributors of OTR tyres 2. To OTR tyre manufacturers 3. To OEM manufacturers of vehicles that use OTR tyres and their resellers (Volvo, CAT, JCB, Komatsu) 4. Direct to end users of OTR vehicles. The company would like to recruit new distribution partners to bring their tyre monitoring systems to existing and new markets and can provide technical support to help with product installation, servicing and technical training.
