The Greek ICT startup was founded in 2019 by three young co-founders with experience in the logistics and ICT sector. The startup has developed an end-to-end, cross company, tracking and collaboration SaaS (System as a Service) platform for the supply chain industry. The platform provides support to freight forwarders and traders (importers/exporters) to get full visibility of an order from order placement, to production, quality control, shipment, customs clearance, inspection, and final delivery. It allows all parties to know what and when to expect the order. The platform aggregates data from multiple sources of information such as shipping lines and vessel information data to provide with accurate ETA (estimated time of arrival) updates and proactively notify for when you need to act. The system is developed in such a way, to allow connection with the existing systems of the importer/exporter, without changing the way that they operate.
The company is looking for companies dealing with sea freight cargo willing to test the platform for implementation to their needs. Potential partners could be importers or exporters of goods, having to deal with several freight forwarders and shipping lines. The type of partnership considered is technical cooperation agreement.
Advantages & innovations
The main innovations and advantages of the platform are:
- Orders tracking. The platform identifies easily delays and inefficiencies in real-time by having a simple dashboard with all orders.
-Allows a detailed view of where the shipment is currently and where it will be next.
-Allows collaboration with partners. Enables order management more efficient by communicating with involved partners without leaving the order.
-Informs customers by creating dedicated customer views and update customers on the spot without needs of calls and emails.
-Two-way communication and information exchange between the various IT systems of the client (such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System)/TMS (Transportation Management System)/WMS (Warehouse Management System) or other system) and the platform.
-Understands what slows down the business and supports data-driven decisions.
-Track all actions and know exactly what happened to the order, when and by who.
