A Swedish Biotech company is looking for European collaborations in two different areas: B2B and distributors. Companies interested in B2B can be offered functional ingredients to be used in food/feed/cosmetics/pharmaceutical applications. Companies interested in distribution can be offer our existing functional food products and beverages, and veterinary products. The Biotech company is an innovative and research strong SME that offers a unique and patented probiotic microbiome delivered in varying formats. The probiotic microbiome is a result of 18 years of Swedish research from Lund University and the company owns the patents that covers three areas: functional food/feed, medical- and veterinary applications. The probiotic microbiome is the reason why honey has been used as an ancient folk medicine all over the world and it is only available in these products. The probiotic microbiome is composed of 13 collaborating beneficial bacteria and delivered in the following formats: • Ingredients (B2B): the probiotic microbiome either in liquid cultures or powder as freeze dried. This ingredient can be added into dairy and non-dairy products, functional drinks (smoothies, juices) as it is or be included in fermentation process of mainly plant-based products. In addition, in dry products as muesli, granolas, flours, etc. The ingredients can be purchased freeze-dried or as a suspension ready to be added to a product to achieve more value and claims, as nutritional claims, intestinal health promoting, prebiotics, probiotics, clean label, etc. • Functional food products (distribution): the probiotic microbiome is delivered in sachets containing honey or freeze dried in capsules. The company is searching for distributors all over Europe and Japan. • Luxurious low alcoholic beverages: the probiotic microbiome is delivered in an exclusive and completely unique fermented beverage, that hade been widely prized in Sweden. Thes bevarades are used as alternative to champagne by Michelin restaurants in Sweden and can be distributed in the same way within Europe. • Veterinary products for pets and honeybees. The probiotic microbiome is delivered in spray- or ointment-form in which the microbiome is mixed with sterile fermented honey and active substances produced by the microbiome to treat hard-to-heal wounds in pets and horses. For honeybees the microbiome is delivered freeze dried to prevent infections within bee-hives.
