A Spanish innovative SME was born in 2010 as a spin-off of a university. They work in the fields of space, telecommunications and science, providing universities and industrial enterprises with innovative solutions. The technical staff consists of engineers and doctors specializing in telecommunications, computer science and electronics, to create a strong and interdisciplinary team which can take on the most demanding of challenges that clients and collaborators propose.
The SME counts with two business lines. The first one is focused on high-technology antenna and passives development whose main applications are space, telecommunication, security and defense, among others. The second one is related to radar technology. Within this business line, they have developed new, compact and powerful radar systems to boost innovative applications for different sectors such as smart cities, industry, academia, health, etc.
Today, smart cities are gaining more and more strength, and there is a growing demand for verification and control systems with the aim of creating economically, socially and environmentally sustainable cities.
This means that in recent years urban centres have had to face an increasing number of problems linked to this fact: energy supply, CO2 emissions, traffic planning, etc.
The company offers solutions to address the current problem, with a specific product developed for smart traffic monitoring for the cities of the future, providing information about average speed, number of vehicles, bikes, etc, time frames with higher traffic density, traffic flows in specific areas of the city, vehicle identification and many others.

This radar solution is the easiest way to measure speed, distance and presence. In addition, the company offers the possibility of working on tailor-made radar technologies for every need, adapting to each situation.

Moreover, Company´s equipment is small and light which results in a portable equipment that can be installed and moved to different locations depending on the client´s necessities of monitoring. Finally, the provided equipment offers not only common traffic indicators such as speed and vehicle counting but also traffic behaviour thanks to the inclusion of additional sensors which allow visual analysis, among others.
The spin-off offers commercial agreements with technical assistance for the implementation and exploitation of this technology. The potential interested partners could be end users (such as city councils or similar), distributors of the commercial solution, or industry companies interested in radar solutions. Moreover, they also offer ad-hoc designs and developments as well as consulting services to deploy its radar solution within the cities of the future, in order to get the most of their solutions.
