The applicant is a small Italian company specialized in the design, development and marketing of digital solutions in the cultural heritage and tourism field and in any expression of creativity.
The company works in the sector of digital imaging since 1999, gaining long-standing experience in high quality image capture of museum collections, hardcopy and photo archives, and developing hardware and software technologies for the visualization of high resolution images in Internet, their cataloguing and/or marketing, fruition through large screens and interactive rooms. The company developed digital watermarking technologies for the intellectual ownership protection (IPR), Digital Right Management and Digital Asset Management software solution for the management and sale of digital contents in Internet.
The solution allows remote viewing and study of even the smallest details of works of art. It also provides associates with ontological information that facilitate its disclosure to a wide audience
Together with the client (museum, art gallery, …), the company creates innovative projects for the valorization of artworks or products.
The company conducts direct digital acquisition campaigns with image size up to 10 GigaPixel.
The company developed a software that enables the features of zooming, correct representation of color, visible and invisible digital watermarks for the rights management. It allows an excellent visual experience with immediate benefits like company or cultural organization brand recognition and perception of the product’s quality. It can also be used in online mode for interactive totems, CDs and apps.
The developed solution allows to bring to the web the entire artistic heritage of the museum with very high resolution images.
The company offers the systems to clients through commercial agreements with technical assistance, offering, on a non-exclusive basis, the development of a personalised project to generate a cloud application containing the very high resolution images of the entire (or partial) artistic heritage of the client, and a number of related lessons to offer the artworks to schools, universities, experts. The provision of additional support services for the maintenance and evolution of the product will be agreed.
