Description
France-based company develops floating devices called MPS, towed by a boat, which maximize the recovery of floating marine waste (macro-waste, hydrocarbons, toxic algae) by gathering them within a narrow band, making their recovery - by a depollution boat or a net - faster and more efficient.
The solution is usable in ports, littoral zones and offshore (up to 1.2m waves and 30+ knots wind), and only requires one boat to tow it. The MPS is compatible with a speed of 8 knots during travel and 4 knots during collection operation.
Three sizes are available: MPS11 (11m of swept width), MPS30 (30m), MPS60 (60m). The MPS is 100% made in France and tailor-made to perfectly fit on specific requirements. The service offer includes on-site training of the client’s crew, a comprehensive user manual detailing optimized utilisation of the MPS, after-sales follow-up and maintenance.
It is looking for commercial partners interested in operating the MPS, such as ports, marinas, port authorities, companies operating in the marine depollution sector, targeting European and Mediterranean countries.
