Advantages & innovations
With the gaining interest of hand crafted products and awareness of climate change, this brewery is a part of a new way of making beer. As it is located on a farm, it is right in the middle of nature which gives a constant awareness of how quality and sustainable production goes hand in hand.
Sustainable production is a way of taking measures to adapt to climate changes and doing what we can to avoid waste and reducing our environmental footprint. Examples of how the company works:
- Spent material from the brewing process is food for cattle on the farms in the area
- Own independent well. Water from its own source.
- Energy from solar panels and wind power
- Own independent sewage system takes load off the communal system and is also used as an energy reducing irrigation system on fields around the brewery.
- Organic production
- Technology for reuse heat energy from brewing process
Being organic certified means that the brewery has taken responsibility for the environment and has a fully controlled supply chain of raw materials. It has also given customers to enjoy beer that's totally free from pesticides, just natural ingredients from soil to glass.
IP Food - the high standard certification for safe food production in Sweden, meaning full control over supply chain, production and delivery.
